Moorings Mediquip serves its customers in Ireland and the Isle of Man from its base in Ballymena, Co. Antrim which includes 3,000sq ft of showrooms, stores and offices as well as a training suite which often hosts therapists studying various aspects of care. Established by Girvan MacCorkell in 1992, the company offers a specialist service to individuals, charities, nursing / residential homes and Health Boards and Trusts.

In order to meet its objectives Moorings Mediquip has recruited a team of staff specially trained in seating, wheelchairs, pressure care, moving and handling, and employs a specifier for shower installations and retains the services of an Occupational Therapist. All ages from children to the elderly are catered for and all personnel pride themselves in offering a personal service to match equipment to needs. Assessments are carried out free of charge either at a client's home or at our wheelchair accessible premises with easy parking at the door.
